Renovation of Wil courtyard (2023-2025)
Intelligent lighting in an 800-year-old cultural asset

The Hof zu Wil is considered one of the most important cultural assets in Switzerland. The over 800-year-old ensemble is under federal protection and combines historical architecture with a variety of uses.
As part of the comprehensive refurbishment, the entire lighting infrastructure was renewed and equipped with TWILINE building automation - future-proof, energy-efficient and in line with the strict requirements of monument preservation.

💡 Intelligent lighting control
The lighting was equipped with state-of-the-art automation technology:
- Automatic brightness control in combination with presence and opening logic
- Constant light levels thanks to individually parameterizable setpoints
- Exterior lighting via twilight sensor and timer
- Flexible ramp functions, run-on times and operating parameters
- Voltage and fuse monitoring with forwarding to the control system

The TWILINE solution ensures energy-efficient, flexible and user-friendly lighting control - perfectly tailored to the diverse requirements of a large historic building.
At the same time, the architectural character of the courtyard is preserved and effectively emphasized by targeted lighting accents.
